The word “Food Fusion” is a buzz word these days but its not new, the concept has been around for many centuries. Chefs around the world intentionally combine flavors from different cultures and create innovative dishes. One such place we intrigued recently was The Drunken Botanist where Chef Vaibhav Bhargava has incorporated more ethnic flavors into our delicacies, to merging two seemingly disparate foods into one.
Situated in Cyber Hub which has become a heaven for casual drinkers and food enthusiasts, The Drunken Botanist is a perfect spot for party goers where specially curated food and drinks go hand in hand. Their wide array of menu, consisting of around 80 dishes, is a comprehensive selection of food from around the world. Their green interiors are also very welcoming and aesthetic. They accommodate around 180 seats but cause of heavy footfall you need to grab your chair as early as possible.
We tried their following dishes :
Special Rolls stuffed with pickled veggies with sweet chilli mango sauce. Loved the way it is made and presented. So refreshing.
Tomato Shorba Shots
A little twist in presentation of Tomato Shorba these shots doesnt let you go high😊.
Chole Bhature Tacos
Again presented altogether in different way we bet you never had Chole bhature the Tacos way. Must have here.
Spicy Salmon Sushi Roll
One of our favourites on the list, the portion is satisfying and completely worth the money!
Lotus Root Our Way
Fried and crispy Lotus Root served with truffle cream is one of their dishes which we put at the top. A must try again!!
These are Hung Curd kebabs coated with edible charcoal and something very innovative, new and so delicious.
Amaranth Coated Sole
This sole fish is coated with Amaranth seeds and served with caramalised onion. Different and scrumptious delicacy.
Tandoori Afghani Chicken
This is something found almost everywhere but its much delicious and tender.
Poached Vegetable Dumpling
The specialty about this dish is it is steamed along-with the chilly sauce so that that the flavors are perfectly absorbed in the dim sums.
Nalli Nihari with Palak Risotto
You ‘ll not find this dish anywhere in Delhi NCR as is specially curated by the chef and not find spinach in such a innovative and delicious way. Must have!!
Millets Khichdi with Chicken Khurchan
Ever thought of having khichdi with chicken?? Well dont think just have it here.. Awesomely made.
Chicken Manchurian with Barley Rice
Delicious Chicken balls served with nutritious Barley rice.. We found is very tasty.
The best presented dessert here. It is soft sponge soaked in vanilla milk topped with strawberry cream.
The yummilicious and delicious dessert. A must have dessert here.
Sweet Ravioli with Lacha Rabri
Rabri served with White chocolates is a deadly combination and very delicious too.
White Wine Sangria, The Door bell, Cucumber Cooler
