Situated in the the next big leisure destination of Delhi NCR, Kheer in Roseate House offers an extraordinary dining experience which combines first-class food with cutting edge glamour and superior service. You will feel like royalty as you feast on delicious, delicate signature dishes that brings creativity to the traditional Indian cuisine. Kheer is a restaurant that sits on the first floor (hosting over 250 guests) of the Hotel and treats you like a Demigod and whats the point of eating out if you only look at your plate.
It is one of the best dressed luxury fine dinning restaurant in Aerocity. Most beautiful hanging bells, wooden tables, vibrant sofas and chairs, exquisite bar at one corner, live chaat counter at another corner portrays Indian tradition with all the sophistication and grandness.
We started with very special Palak Patta Chaat and Jalebi Chaat. Palak Patta Chaat is something available everywhere but this one is special as everything is made here with most of the ingredients made in house, it had perfect tanginess and good blend of spices as per our Indian taste. Jalebi Chaat is something which you’ll not easily anywhere in Delhi as is been specially curated by the Chef here, instead of putting the fried jalebi in sugar syrup it is presented in the form of chaat. It was so delectable and new to us.
Then we were served with the most innovative Pizza Naan with the base of a Naan and baked slowly with our favorite toppings and cheese. It was so cheesy and tasty that it is bound to impress for all age groups.
We then had Tandoori Paneer Tikka and Silbatte Ki Shammi. Both were special in themselves. Paneer Tikka was in the form of rolls which again was slowly roasted so that spices are perfectly absorbed in it and it is a delicacy which is loved even by the people who doesnt love paneer so much. Silbatte Ki Shammi was very succulent and full of aroma again a perfect delicacy. Complementing it with Blueberry Mocktail was a perfect idea again.
Barra Kebab and Tandoori Murgh Tikka are again two dishes specially curated by the Chef. Barra kebab is served with tomato garlic chutney and Murgh Tikka is chicken cooked in brown onion, cashewnut and garlic. Both were cooked very well and experience of the Chef is appreciated.
Dal Makhani, Paneer Khatta Pyaz, Murg Kolhapuri, Butter Naan, Reshmi, Bakarkhani, Gosht Biryani were served as main course. Dal Makhani was so buttery, silky and incredibly delicious. It is cooked overnight to have that taste. Panner was also very good and tender with the prefect amount of spices in it. Murg Kolhapuri was again a scrumptious dish. In their breads Bakarkhani is made of full butter and Reshmi is made of complete Desi Ghee which are again something specially curated and found here only.
Gosht Biryani was something very very special which was cooked in a round, deep casserole baked in a naan crust. You need to cut the naan crust to reveal the gorgeous colors and aromas of this rice dish. The meat was incredibly tender and the Salon which was served alongwith was very savory and spiced so well. The best dish of today.
For the desserts we tried their Kheer Platter which was served with their very special kheers – Bottle Guard Kheer, Sabudana Kheer and Jaggery(Gur) Kheer. All the puddings were at their best and your food journey in Kheer is incomplete without having them. We were also served with Kalakand Tart with caramel sauce which is again an indo western fusion dessert having kalakand in a tart. We loved every bit of it.
Overall, we had a very good lunch that showcases the vibrant flavors of Indian cuisine. On weekends Kheer is only open for lunch although you need to shed little more money to have this perfect food. So to have great Indian food with all the grandeur Kheer is a must try.
