Located in the heart of Aerocity, La Roca(based on a luxury village located in Spain), brings together the rustic simplicity of Spanish Tapas alongwith handpicked ingredients of world cooking. The idea is based around sharing perfectly executed tapas complemented with comprehensive range of cocktails without any synthetic syrups. This nector bar uses home made infusions such as strawberry blueberry and vanilla pod infused gin as well as nitro charged coffee cocktails with combinations that have never been seen before in entire Delhi NCR. Chef Akshay Bhardawaj has successfully curated the super modern dishes at this bustling tapas bar.
From their vast menu we tried the Burnt Carrot Salad, Sambal Chicken Skewers, Chilli Garlic Prawns Tapenade , Spicy Avocado Nigiri, Wasabi Wrap up – Spicy Tuna Sushi, Madras Buttermilk Chicken Leg, Mixed Seafood with Robust Salsa. The food was so good, I cant stop raving about it.
In the Burnt Carrot Salad everything was very well seasoned and paired nicely together. Plenty of chewy and crunchy bits throughout.
Sambal Chicken Skewers are a little more spicy, less sweet, with more vinegar notes. Sambal brought these skewers to a new level and gave us exactly what we want. For this dish I would definitely like to go back.
Garlic Prawns Tapenade We are in love with these barbecued prawns topped with fresh herb sauce – Tapenade. Prawns were so tender and juicy, we loved every about it.
Spicy Avocado Nigiri – Avocado and rice are besties which is reflected perfectly in this dish. Buttery avocado on seasoned sushi rice, and a drizzle of chipotle mayo makes it a perfect dish.
Spicy Tuna Sushi – We love the contrasting flavours and textures of this roll: spicy and soft tuna salad, tangy rice and crunchy refreshing cucumber! It was perfectly spiced up by adjusting the amount of wasabi to suit our taste buds.
For the desserts we loved their Chocolate tree dessert was something out of the world. It had five different types of chocolates namely Illanka, Bahibe, Manjari, Dolce Chocolate and Chocolate Gyoza. Of course we love all the flavors. La Roca written with edible gold dust was again so beautiful on it. Loved it.
From their Nectar bar we specially loved their Signature Cocltail Violet(Gin Based Cocktail), Saffronisation, Pisco Palm & The Blue Fashioned. Have a look 👇
