Burma Burma, DLF Cyber City

Situated amidst frenetic corporate hub, DLF Cyber City, Burma Burma is a Burmese restaurant that serves one of the best vegetarian food. It stands unique among various hipster bars situated in the area in terms of food and ambiance both. Food here is fusion of various neighborhood countries of Myanmar.
Hanging bells on the ceiling, traditional Burmese drawings on the walls and contemporary items situated at every corner makes it unique and give you a glimpse of Burmese culture. It feels cozy and historically cool without trying too hard. The staff is quite friendly and knows what they are serving in both beverages and food. Ask the stewards for advice on which dishes to choose. It is known for its excellent rendition of Burmese street food such as Ohn-no Khao Suèy and Cinese Noodles. We decided to try following:

Raw Mango Salad

Salads are most important part of Burmese cousins and one of them is Raw Mango Salad. Its a tangy vegetarian and healthy salad loaded with the freshness of raw mango and vegetables. Roasted red chillis, crushed peanuts, lettuce and brown onions make it a savory snack. A Must Try !!

Samosa Salad

Now who doesn’t love samosas here.. Burmese have taken these samosa into a different level.. just chopped it and added veggies to it and make it a perfect street snack. It is a perfect salad to lure upon.

Sunflower leaves and crispy wheat flakes salad

Burmese food is quite mild in terms of spices as available in India and PAN Asia. So is their Sunflower leaves and crispy wheat flakes salad. It is again something very unique for us with the crunchiness of wheat flakes in it. We loved it.

Burma Burma Oh No Khao Suey

Oh No Khao Suey is a Burmese soup meal consisting of wheat noodles in a coconut milk broth with an array of toppings. This is one of the signature dish here and a must try. It is topped with veggies and lemon grass and you will like the little tangy flavor of tamarind in it. We loved all the flavors in it.

China Town Noodles

Modern take on Burmese cuisine, these China Town Noodles were as good as they look. Filled with veggies these noodles were perfect in taste and one of their best dishes we could have.

Tea Saffron Khawa

With many health benefits Tea Saffron Khawa is easily the best choice for everyone. With the perfect presentation and taste we enjoyed it.

Oreo Bubble Tea

Having its own benefits by providing anti oxidants by the way of bubbles this Oreo Bubble Tea is one of the best option as it provides the best of its taste and is very refreshing. Having it makes it like “Taste bhi health bhi”.

This sweet and creamy Durian Icecream tastes just fine and may be not for Indian taste. Made from the pulp of Durian this dessert is something which we dont easily in NCR region.

Coco Pina

Coco Pina is a frozen dessert bursting with coconut and pineapple flavors. Again with the beautiful presentation we loved this palatable dessert.
