Best Navratra food at Imly – Rajouri Garden

The word “Imly” itself is extremely mouthwatering for all of us and with over eight locations in Delhi NCR, Imly is one of the buzzing restaurants which is always packed with people who love Delhi’s street food with twisted presentation.

Now during Navratras devotees of Maa Durga turn completely vegetarian with no onions or garlic in their food, some people also observe fast to purify their mind, body and soul. Imly is also once such place which is flooded with Satvik food.

We hopped in to try their Navratri food, and started the food journey with Shakargandi ki Shammi, Arbi ke kebab, Kele aur palak ke popopcorn, Banana chips papadi chaat, Saburdana vada. Post we had their Scrumptious Navratri Thali that had Sabudana Khichdi, Samak ke pulao, Khatta meetha kadoo, Panner ke khaas, Jeera aloo, Raita, palak Poori and Phirni. We loved it !!

Who can imagine these combinations served in such a way everyone can fall in love with “varat ka khana“. We all have a perception of oily and no masala or spices food during fasts, but but!! food at Imly just stole my heart and changed my perception. Food we usually eat during our fasts at home is very boring, and Imly made an effort to make that boring meal into something very interesting and tasty at the same time. Imly took a step for the devotees of maa to eat healthy and enjoy their fast to the fullest. People usually carry their fruits or something to eat because they won’t get pure SATVIK food anywhere, but Imly is the stoppage for all now.
